Today was going to be particularly good, since he had finally convinced Shen Wei that (a) vacations existed, (b) he could take a vacation, and (c) they should take a vacation together to somewhere else. Somewhere nice. Somewhere neither of them had responsibilities.

“The beach?” Shen Wei had hazarded, looking a little uncertain, and Zhao Yunlan had crowed in victory and booked a room in the outskirts of Kraken City immediately so that Shen Wei couldn’t back out.
