I wrote a non-spoilery primer on Guardian-related Chinese. On it you'll find a visual list of the show's characters with their names, a more in-depth overview of how to say the names of the MCs, and a few other tidbits.

My evil motivation is to remove some of the language barrier that a new viewer who doesn't speak Chinese might experience when watching the show for the first time, ideally so that they can become completely obsessed and their lives ruined, too.

Note: This isn't a Chinese tutorial. It's intended for people who don't know and probably are not going to learn Chinese. Hence, it's more of a "getting by by the seat of your pants" guide.
