Summary:
The fic is set entirely in YOHE, which is kind of a rarity for me. But the present time is also different from canon, though that only really comes through in little snippets of Zhao Yunlan thinking about it the present time, while in YOHE. I feel like it's also far less concentrated on the weilan relationship than my usual. All in all, in some ways it's not really my typical fic, but some change is good now and then.

Summary:
Zhao Yunlan lands in the past. Slowly, he comes to realise that things are not at all how he would have expected. There's Shen Wei as the Black Cloaked Envoy, but no Ye Zun anywhere. That isn't right. If he doesn't change things, he's afraid the future he remembers isn't going to happen.
