Summary:
That's it, Zhao Yunlan tells himself. At least he'd saved someone. His death won't be useless.

Later, Zhao Yunlan wakes up cold and wet. His entire body hurts, his chest is heavy, he's barely breathing but he opens his eyes and sees the starry sky through clear air. He's lying on something hard and stiff.

Looking down at himself, Zhao Yunlan sees a mess of inky hair.

Sea being Shen Wei gets caught in a fishing net and Zhao Yunlan, the newest crew member on the fishing vessel, gets into trouble by saving him.

Zhu Jiu, our first and most interesting antagonist in the series, has questionable taste in accessories, and multi-coloured hair. He believes he's fighting the good fight, wants to be a hero, and is unflinchingly loyal. Also he is a-OK with killing people.
