Summary: Already Zhao Yunlan can feel him wanting to retreat, to put his walls back up and pretend this will all go away. It makes Zhao Yunlan hold on tighter, push closer, get right up in his face. If those walls have to be rebuilt, they can encompass both of them this time.

Author's notes: First of all, many thanks to yantantether for the beta! Any other mistakes are mine.

I actually starting writing this in Chinese, but after about 2 paragraphs, I decided I was writing it waaaay too slowly and switched to English. Given that all the canon (the novel and drama) are all in Chinese, it was a bit weird to be writing the characters in English, but the bunny needed to be freed.

This is set after the last epilogue of the novel (4th extra scene) which if you're not familiar with, can be found here. Its also set after the ending of the drama series, so big huge honking spoilers to the series here!
