Our lovely fandom continues to grow beyond our wildest expectations! Comm membership has just hit 100 98 (and we got impatient)! *shameless champagne and ballooooons*

A few small notes and reminders:

1. The Welcome/Intro post and the Fannish Resources post are still alive and kicking. Feel free to drop in at any time and say hi, or give us all your resource links (even the ones that might seem really obvious)!


2. Lurking is also totally fine, of course! *waves to lurkers*


3. Please tag your posts to the comm so other users can easily find what they’re looking for. In particular, it would be great if you could use the canon: drama and/or canon: novel tags, since it’s not always obvious to us mods which should apply, including for fanart or vids that use drama visuals but draw on novel elements. Right now, I am trying hard not to buy a replica of Shen Wei’s necklace, but it is hard, you guys.

The one goss found? Omg yes. Honestly, I never thought I'd fall for any kind of Guardian merchandise, because so far it's all been plushie dolls and chibi drawings and weird photobooks.

But this? Argh. I love it. I would so wear it.

Speaking as a person of insufficient willpower who has since succumbed to the necklace's siren call: Of course I must wear it! I feel practically obligated to. It's more my style than Shen Wei's, even! ;-)

Oh! I had not expected that. (and it's not expensive in the first place. I would totally have bought it including shipping. just sayin.)

Which one did you buy? The lollipop one or the soulfire one? I'm a bit unsure how the lollipop one looks from the front - it seems to be flat in there. So I'm currently leaning towards the soulfire one which looks more uniform, like a marble. (And I am a fan of the whole reincarnation thing, too. I would wear either one.)

(If anyone had told me that I would be discussing cosplay jewelry at any point in my life, I would have told them they were crazy.)

Me too. ;-) (I am totally not saying that I already bought two denim trenchcoats - one of them from China - and a lot of lollipops because of this show, BTW. I just needed some new jackets. Ahem.)

I got the lollipop wrapper one! I do also like reincarnation, and it totally also exists in my drama headcanon (though I will not explain because of spoilers *g*). But that's still in the canon drama universe, so for me there was no choice in terms of the necklace.

I think the lollipop one will look relatively uniform from the front, with a golden line in the middle, and reveal the swirl whenh looked at from an angle. That works for me!

If anyone had told me that I would be discussing cosplay jewelry at any point in my life, I would have told them they were crazy.

I caved and bought it. I... may also have ordered a hoodie off AvenueX's Redbubble store that has 'Black Cloak Gege' on it. >.> It's very comfy.
