• making fanworks-finder/rec-finder posts.

Which is to say, it's for letting Guardian fans find each other on Dreamwidth. :)

As the comm develops, we hope to introduce social, discussion and/or prompt posts, but given it's December, we thought we'd start small and manageable.

Hello! I ended up in Guardian fandom by way of SHL fandom; I was reading SHL fic last month and I got to a fic that had been inspired by a Guardian fic, so I shrugged my shoulders and clicked on the Guardian fic, and read it - and then I read another Guardian fic and another Guardian fic and then I looked for the drama so I could watch it and now I'm 19 episodes in and have been reading nothing but Guardian fic for at least two weeks straight <.< whoops? ^^;;

I am all in on Shen Wei, YOHE Shen Wei, Shen Wei's suits, Shen Wei's sleeve garters, Shen Wei's extreme competence, Shen Wei's Dixingren powers, Shen Wei's shy little head-duck-smile, Shen Wei's absolutely devotion and loyalty for ten thousand years spent pining and waiting for the person he loves to return, and last but very much not least, Shen Wei's pocket chain from the ZYL stomach issues episode... I don't remember what episode number it is but by god I remember that pocket chain!!

This is a fantastic paragraph and I love it. Looks like Shen Wei hit you the way he did me, back in 2018. He's amazing and I still can't get enough of him. ♥

Episode 8!! Yes!! I... am about to go get ready for work so maybe not right now but I will definitely check out the discussion! I... often care about spoilers but not for shows that I enter, ah, shall we say "fanfic first" <.< in which I acquire canon into my brain by osmosis as I read fic <.<

I think part of it for me is the intersection of powerful and competent(competence kink? me? *cough*) with the devotion/loyalty/love needed to wait 10,000 years PLUS the emotional vulnerability we see peering through his walls sometimes AND ALSO I love me some identity shenanigans? AND THEN A BIG REVEAL?? and he wears suits like that and his face looks like that I- *crumbles into dust*
