Our lovely fandom continues to grow beyond our wildest expectations! Comm membership has just hit 100 98 (and we got impatient)! *shameless champagne and ballooooons*

A few small notes and reminders:

1. The Welcome/Intro post and the Fannish Resources post are still alive and kicking. Feel free to drop in at any time and say hi, or give us all your resource links (even the ones that might seem really obvious)!


2. Lurking is also totally fine, of course! *waves to lurkers*


3. Please tag your posts to the comm so other users can easily find what they’re looking for. In particular, it would be great if you could use the canon: drama and/or canon: novel tags, since it’s not always obvious to us mods which should apply, including for fanart or vids that use drama visuals but draw on novel elements. This is our current list of tags, and we’ll add more type tags as the need arises.

Guardian-specific stuff
Drama, novel or both? Watched the drama, just starting on the novel.
Fannish about canon, actors, related shows, RPF or some combination of these? Some combination, but mostly canon at the moment.
How long have you been in the fandom? A month? Ish?
Where can we find your fanworks, if any: No Guardian related fanworks at the moment.
Other points of interest regarding your Guardian fannishness: This is one of the first Chinese dramas I've watched. In the past, I've mostly watched k and j-dramas. (Although, I watched a lot of Barbie Hsu in some Taiwanese dramas in the early 2000s.)

Posting habits
How long have you been on Dreamwidth? Where were you before that? Since the beginning! I was on LJ for ages too. I'm OLD. :D
What do you post about: A mix of fannish things re. the media i'm watching/enjoying, recs, meta on fandoms and being a fan, and the occasional random link to something interesting.
Your other fandoms include: SO MANY OMG. Let's stick to my current media favs: The Magicians, Guardian, MCU, Derek Hale (I'm still not over him), m/m romance novels, YA fantasy novels, a range of podcasts, The Good Place. I'm also fannish about tiny houses, other people's bullet journal spreads, stationary, and comics.
Post frequency: SIGH. Mostly I seem to post during the moments when I'm on vacation or on a break from work. Although, I always intend to do better.
Access policy: Personal stuff is locked, general stuff is open.

Anything else we should know about you? I love to beta and I'm good at it, but work makes my schedule/life complicated. When I get really deep into a fandom I tend to make mixes/playlists. I enjoy making icons and graphics. (But, for all of these, see earlier comment re. work/time complications. ADULTING IS HARD.)

Heh. I'm on vacation this week. Can you tell? The sudden burst of posting tends to give it away. :D

Other than reading a lot of Guardian fic this week, my other goal is to read the (semi-) new K.J. Charles book. I love her stuff.

Awesome! You may already know this, but a lot of KJ Charles fans also really like Cat Sebastian. She also does historical m/m. KJ Charles is definitely my fave though. :D

I'm old too! Hee, I love that this fandom seems to be drawing in a number of fannish dinosaurs... I'd actually thought that my days of fannishness might be coming to an end, but. Turns out not so much. ;-)

Guardian is also one of my first Chinese dramas (though I watch a lot of kdramas). I have yet to see a canon that is quite this addictive. It's a first for me in so many ways.

ADULTING IS HARD.

SO HARD. Why must RL get in the way of fannishness! It is a constant bother.
