As the comm develops, we hope to introduce social, discussion and/or prompt posts, but given it's December, we thought we'd start small and manageable.

I love that scene - that entire episode, really! The way Yunlan *lounges* on the bed in front of Shen Wei.

And both of their apartments are done so well. It makes me happy that the show pays such attention to details like this - that it successfully characterizes them both through their living environment.

(That shield and swords on Shen Wei's wall... that really does not belong in a genetics professor's home. But I am sure nobody would be too surprised, given that the rest of the place is so genuinely professorish...) /ramble

Reminds me of an interview where -- apparently -- Chinese fans have a nickname for Yunlan: "he who doesn't stand when he can sit, he who doesn't sit when he can lie down" :P

Hahaha, OMG, now I want the fic where some students see Professor Shen with a sword and start thinking he's secretly a LARPer. :D

I want allllllll the outsider POV Shen Wei's student fics. Like, in particular, I really want a fic set either when Shen Wei goes missing or post-series where his student body fanclub (you know there is one! the Chancellor's granddaughter is the president!) team up to find out what's going on and rescue him.

LOL! Yes! Both the "My Prof is a Secret LARPer" story and this one would be lovely - but I also want there to be one where his students are afraid he's in trouble with the mob because there's always this thuggy guy hanging around his office, looking suspicious. And then they do some research and find out he is actually a cop - OMG! - so now they think he's in trouble with the police... but what can Professor Shen Wei of all people possibly have done wrong??

ETA: Also, some of the students are slashing the professor with the thuggy guy, and all the others are like, "Seriously? Only highbrow intellectuals for Professor Shen!!" And then someone sees them kissing. :D :D :D
