Keeping warm: I voted for ...

• covering the vent, but not jamming the giant fan, and "other" ... because the large round fan-shaped thing is not where the cold air is coming from! The actual vent is on the opposite wall and much smaller. I don't know if that means jamming it would have been more or less difficult, but either way they should have tried. *g*


• CSZ using his make-a-hole-in-a-mountain abilities on that door

• I didn't vote for the off-switch thing because the door panel wasn't working for them, so probably that one also wouldn't.

Shen Wei:

• I expect the Envoy does officially get something from Dixing.

I need to check what else I voted for Shen Wei, lolol, because I got so distracted by the lollipop factory option. xD :D :D BECAUSE does it mean that the factory makes THESE LOLLIPOPS specifically?? :D Shen Wei having a hand in making THIS LOLLIPOP is now my favorite crack idea, omg. :D And it would be so very on-brand for this time loop. :D :D

The other things I voted - he's paid by Dixing and the university, but doesn't have all that much money anyway. I also couldn't resist the 10,000 years trust fund, not because I think it's true but because it would be so sweet of the people waiting for him to come back. :D And I only didn't vote for any alchemical power because I don't think he would use it this way - like, he probably even has it (why not :D), but these things always have a tendency to backfire, and he wouldn't intentionally give something unreliable to other people. Unless the Dixing version of this power is very reliable, of course. :D

So I didn't vote for it, but I laughed hard at Shen Wei investing in a lollipop factory. Priorities, etc. Also, Dixing had damn well better be paying him a stipend. (I have my suspicions that they're cheap and that the Regent would pretend that a man of legend wouldn't need a stipend, especially if he thinks it might lead to a reduction in appropriations for the Regent.) Shen Wei is entitled to financial compensation for all that he's gone through for Dixing.
