Keeping warm: I voted for ...

• covering the vent, but not jamming the giant fan, and "other" ... because the large round fan-shaped thing is not where the cold air is coming from! The actual vent is on the opposite wall and much smaller. I don't know if that means jamming it would have been more or less difficult, but either way they should have tried. *g*


• CSZ using his make-a-hole-in-a-mountain abilities on that door


• the hoodies, because seriously!


• I didn't vote for the off-switch thing because the door panel wasn't working for them, so probably that one also wouldn't.

• I expect the Envoy does officially get something from Dixing.

Maybe! Or maybe it's just, you know, in Dixing people are breaking the laws of physics all the time, so people might not have a very solid grasp on them. Hard to know what's a "law" when it doesn't apply all the time. So it might be super interesting to discover this whole field of "how the world works absent dark energy"?

Honestly, I like the idea that Dixing's education is actually good ... if you can get it. So the schools SW wants aren't to introduce knowledge to Dixing, but to give everyone equal access to knowledge.

Going from the dorms to suddenly getting an apartment (and especially the real estate agent being all 'I have a better one for someone like you' - presumably a more expensive one) made me wonder how much money he really has, but yeah, if anything he probably has saved a lot by just not buying much of anything ever.

Yeah, I don't think he's living in the dorms because he can't afford anything else. I think it's probably the done thing for single teachers, and once you start a family, you buy a house/apartment. (Like kids living at home until they get married, too.)

Oh good point! For some reason I thought Ye Huo's power was on the fritz because of the cold. But injury makes just as much (if not more) sense!
