I originally wanted to vote for the Guardian Lamp but then I realised that my big feels about it are from the novel, and you specified dramaverse here. xD

Volume 3 of the novel is such a blur in my mind that I can't even remember what happened with the Guardian Lamp. /o\ I take it it's very different?

Who needs logical arguments. xDI was even wary of it in the novel for this reason too, but of course it's all completely different. :)(no subject)

And in the other poll I just voted for the Rebel Chief (I'm quite impressed with myself not even wanting to cheat the system xD) - you fix nearly every single problem this way, as long as you yeet him early enough. /EFFICIENCY
There should bethere probably are fix-it fics where you just yeet him into the sun and voila, no other problems left to solve. :Dno subject
*dies*
EFFICIENCY indeed! :D :D :D (I'm sure those fix-it fics exist!) (You fix nearly every problem, but you also eradicate the entire drama, possible the whole ancient war, and quite likely SW/ZYL, too! Oh no!) (I've just talked myself into wanting to change my vote, lol.)

Ha, that's so true!
And I like your Hallows reasoning! I also picked a Hallow I thought was going to get fewer votes.

Much easier choice with the yeeting! (I think Professor Ouyang is also deserving of a yeet, but I had none left. *g*)
no subject
Yepppp! ♡ Exact same reasoning for me, including disqualifying the Merit Brush right away, haha. :D
"(I think Professor Ouyang is also deserving of a yeet, but I had none left. *g*)"
Oh, HE SO IS. But I'm now I'm being stingy with my yeets, lmao, and really curious to see what other people add as "other" - so many good options!

That was my reasoning. Both energy exchanges, plus it's the thing that kicks of the story in the first place.
(I think Professor Ouyang is also deserving of a yeet, but I had none left. *g*)
Ooh, yes! I should have thought of that. (I nearly put Ye Zun in the poll, since he is after all the main antagonist, but I thought Shen Wei would disapprove of anyone yeeting his didi. *g*)

The Regent's Deacon needs to go the most. Slimy little bastard. I also voted for Ding Dun because of his weirdly complicated fortune teller scheme.

And I'm delighted you picked the Lantern, too! Emotional impact indeed, and the drama's ending is kind of unthinkable to me without both Zhao Yunlan's sacrifice and Dixing getting light.

Yes, excellent call! (Plus, the whole sacrifice thing really works for me.)

This made me laugh so much. :D :D :D

Oof, yeet votes were hard, too, but Rebel Chief has to be one of them. I see the reasoning of not yeeting him, to preserve Weilan, but despite that I still want to yeet him.
And now I'm bummed that I didn't vote "other" with Professor Ouyang in mind because I wouldn't mind giving him a yeet into the sun.
no subject
And for the yeets, FWIW, you can click on "change your vote" in the poll and go for "other" after all, if you want.
no subject
Literally my reasoning too, 100% to a T. :D *high five* *sobs about the lantern*

I love this! I love how many feelings people have about it, and how they're gaming the voting process. :D

*nodnodnodnod* Entirely fair!!
Professor Ouyang is so terrible -- I think partly because he has the potential to be so much better?

I'm yeeting the Regent and the Rebel Chief because I do not like them. The Rebel Chief especially needs yeeting. (I do yeet him off the cliff in at least one WIP somewhere.)
Funny thing about the Deacon and Ding Dun at some point my brain mixed them together and then convinced me they were one person (despite what my eyes clearly told me) and I was extremely confused watching a few episodes. ("Isn't he dead? I'm sure they said he's dead?" Nope that was an entirely different person.)
