(Personally I really don't want to lose the drama, and the time loop especially, but I would totally be here for reading that AU!)

Theoretically it could still be a time loop, especially if you already have time travel, but omg I FEEL YOU. Like, I want to fix everything for everyone, but letting go of the canon Weilan story is HARSH. But they'd still find each other and be happy and so much less traumatized. But I would miss so many things. DAMN. xD

In an effort to have my cake and eat it too, I came up with: Weilan post-canon fix a different timeline for baby Shen Wei and Ye Zun ~~by yeeting the Rebel Chief into the sun~~. Their alternate versions still find each other later because they always do. They live a totally different story, but it doesn't matter because the original Weilan already had theirs.

I have no more details and no intention to write it (this would be a behemoth of a story!), but at least I'm satisfied. xD

A+, no complaints. :D

The only thing I can't decide is which would be more satisfying:

1) Shen Wei yeets him into the sun with extreme prejudice, or

2) Shen Wei gently leads Ye Zun there and lets Ye Zun yeet him into the sun with extreme prejudice. *g*

Ohhhh, yep, Ye Zun needs to do this for maximum emotional impact imo! ♡

Just how many details can they see, HMMMM. :D :D ~~I wasn't gonna go there but I'm totally going there, lmao, Zhao Yunlan would totally go there too. :D~~ I adore this fic trope where ZYL is like 'you saw what we did in YOHE *ded*' and Shen Wei is like 'I didn't just see it, I remember it', and I feel like both of them watching (or, like, fast forwarding or looking away or doing something else or pretending that they're not watching) would be comedy gold. :D :D With sappy potential, always, lol.
