Scene discussion poll -- what next?
Round Six of scene discussions is coming to an end soon. We really like having the regular posts to keep the comm active and feeling lived-in, but we're heading into a busy time of year for a lot of people. Please fill out the poll (and elaborate in comments!) to say what we should do next.
Poll #26294 Plan for the rest of the year

*nodnod* You're right. (That's actually what I meant by "we don't have to have recs every week", but I now realise that was extremely unclear! :-)
I think it'd be fun to see rec lists hosted directly on
*nodnod* Back in the day, the idea was to gently encourage content to stay out in the wild, so that more people would catch glimpses of Guardian's shininess and be lured in. I still have a slight leaning that way -- if everything happens on the comm, the fandom is more likely to shrink from natural attrition. But I also get you re the convenience -- I feel that too.
That sounds fascinating and something that I would probably just observe without interacting with. xD; I don't read enough!
Ha, now that you say that, I realise I'm the same. (I still haven't read all the 520 Day fic, let alone the Wishlist collection!) I don't think a fest thing would work unless there were quite a number of enthusiastic reccers -- might be something to gauge interest in at a later date. But yeah, no reason people can't post recs (or rec lists) at any other time, including as part of the next round.
