Scene discussion poll -- what next?

Round Six of scene discussions is coming to an end soon. We really like having the regular posts to keep the comm active and feeling lived-in, but we're heading into a busy time of year for a lot of people. Please fill out the poll (and elaborate in comments!) to say what we should do next.

Poll #26294 Plan for the rest of the year
Open to: Registered Users, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 12

What would you like to happen on the comm for the rest of the year?

Ooh, yes, recs would be awesome!! For me, the only downside with having them in place of a scene post is that they don't provide a lot of scope for discussion, and I really enjoy the interactions and digging into things on the scene posts. But we don't have to have recs every week.

Does everything need to have scope for discussion, though? It's kinda nice to also have some posts where it feels easier to engage by just going "Oh, cool, thanks!" (which one could do on the scene discussion posts, but isn't how most people interact). (Both are good! I love the in-depth discussions! But it's nice to see other things too, y'know?)

(Fwiw, we had a themed reccing meme a couple of years ago, and I've been vaguely wondering about suggesting that again. I don't know if now would be the best time, though, given exchange season.)

Oh, that's neat! :) I think it'd be fun to see rec lists hosted directly on [community profile] sid_guardian, either in posts or comments, but that's probably because clicking through a lot of links is less fun for me than just reading the recs directly.

And now I'm wondering if there's a way to do some kind of interactive reccing fest, maybe with prompts?

That sounds fascinating and something that I would probably just observe without interacting with. xD; I don't read enough! But it does sound cool :)
