This discussion series has been running for over two years now, and we're still loving the chance to discuss and revel in Guardian together every week.

• The scene discussion series is open to all kinds of post types -- meta, squee, rarepair or friendship ship manifestos, recs, polls, etc. If you're not sure whether the thing you'd like to do fits the format, feel free to ask. (So long as it's about Guardian and is not a fanwork like fic or art, the answer is probably yes!)


• There are no minimums! The only requirement is to post something about Guardian (novel or drama) on the Friday or Saturday, according to the schedule below.


• For scene discussions, please check the Scene Discussion Index to make sure your chosen scene hasn't already been covered.


• If you want to include screencaps and can't make or find your own, we can help with that. Just let us know.

My topic is called "Internal and External Trouble", and is about Zhao Yunlan & Chu Shuzhi's argument overlapping the end of ep. 31/start of ep 32, plus Zhao Yunlan in trouble at the Inspectorate about Chu Shuzhi in ep 32.

Has there ever been a post to collect playlists and songs? I’ve got a bunch of individual songs that remind me of specific characters, and I’d love to see if anyone has favorites they want to share. Does this sound like a good fit?

Q: can I claim a spot on the next sign-up round pre-emptively or should I wait for that sign-up post? I have a scene discussion (ep 4, SID team) I would love to do first January Friday! Which is Jan 6th I think?
