Subtitle update
Okay, eps 6-20. Mission creep is happening which is why so slow. If anyone who likes to do timing would like to hook up with me, please please get in touch! 6-20, 26-30

If you don't, that's your first step. jdownloader2 is a great tool for doing that: http://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2
The original subs come along with that as .srt files. Make a new folder and move them into that so they don't automatically get associated with the .mp4 files. Stick my .ass (stop giggling at the back) files in the folder with the .mp4 files instead.
Then you can either choose to rename things so .mp4 and .ass for each ep are called exactly the same - that will associate them automatically...
Or you retain current names (possibly cleverer at this point until I'm fully done because I'm still going back into already done subs for minor amendments) and as you start your video playback, use whatever your program provides to let you choose subtitles to display and select the relevant one. (If you tell me which program you use I can probably walk you through that.)
Hope this helps!

Okay, so you open your video file in VLC, then click on the 'Subtitle' menu item, select 'add subtitle file', and then open the relevant subtitle to the ep.
That's it. :)
