Guardian on Viki

Guardian has appeared onto Viki! This is not a drill!

Episode listing. There are no Chinese hardsubs and at least episode 1 claims to be 100% engsubbed, but the Orange Biscuit subs at least are better quality. Most of the episodes are completely subbed.

A quick check of episode 40 reveals a reunion that got axed in the censored version, so it's likely the original cut.

IKR? Though downloading from Viki is apparently kinda hard. I'm sure our enterprising vidders will find a way, though!

This works for me (or, well, it worked for Nirvana in Fire, I haven't started the new dl for guardian yet):
1) Download and install JDownloader 2 http://www.jdownloader.org/
2) Linkgrabber will probably be on by default. This monitors your clipboard and parses links into downloadable files. If you don't want it to monitor your clipboard, you'll have to copy the links into the linkgrabber tab by clicking Add New Links
3) Go to https://www.viki.com/tv/36559c-guardian#modal-episode, click see all
4) Highlight everything on the page and copy to clipboard
5) Click next at the bottom of the page and repeat for every page of videos.
6) Wait while the linkgrabber tab fills in with the video files. The names it's giving me for episodes here are Beschützer Folge 1, etc.
7) Download as you like.

The one caveat is it doesn't grab subtitles (although it does from youtube).

Oh good god, the German version it's giving me calls it "Beschützer", which is... awful. *headdesk*.

No hardsubs and the original cut! Yay for the vidders! Plus, we should be able to download and use with the better subs...?

(ETA: The somewhat cringe-worthy German plot summary can't seem to make up its mind whether to just say that they're a couple, or to hint by alluding to their close, but unconventional friendship. LOL!)
