21 and 22 are new, and I caved and fixed the timings in 26. Very minor changes in some other eps.

I assume you have the videos downloaded too.

Stick everything in the same folder.

Either rename things so vids and subs have exactly the same name - then they should appear automatically once you start the video.

Or start the video, then find the thing in your player that lets you load subtitles, select correct subtitle, voila.

If you tell me what player you're using I may be able to give you step by step instructions.

um, no. What is a good thing to use for DLing vids? I don't know who to trust won't get me infected with something oozy.

I have been using Jdownloader 2 for years now. No adware, no bugs.

You put a Youtube URL in it and it finds the downloadable stuff and you click 'download now' and it does it. Particularly useful if you use the URL for the entire Guardian playlist. The you just delete the files you don't need (the original engsubs plus some m4a and jpg always come down too) and that's you.
