Oops, things got a bit hectic, and we missed a month. But it's never too late to link your fanworks! Please comment with any Guardian (or related fandoms) fanworks you created or enjoyed over the last couple of months.

OCs, Zhao Yunlan, space.
Summary: Captain Ji contemplated the star chart glowing above their console. The course set by their predecessor twenty-one cycles ago gleamed, as always, a hopeful green arc. It was leading them further and deeper into an outer arm of the galaxy in search of that elusive prize: a planet welcoming enough and sufficiently resourced that the Prosperity’s residents could establish a home without importuning any pre-existing sentient life.

Summary: Zhao Yunlan finds a cat in a tight spot and, naturally, rescues it.

Summary: “Do you think anyone can tell?” Changcheng leaned in to whisper to Chu Shuzhi. His wig tickled Chu Shuzhi’s ear.

Summary: Shen Wei—no, the Black-Cloaked Envoy in the professor’s clothes—shouted, “Catch her!” With no sense of how it had happened, she was in Zhao Yunlan’s embrace. He was here. She was safe. He might be blind, but his arm was around her, he was patting her shoulder and letting her lean against his body and feel his warmth.
5. Onboarding [2,074 words, G-rated]

Summary: “You’re asking about my power.”
Zhao Yunlan gestures impatient confirmation with a thin trail of cigarette smoke. He’d told the Envoy what he needed; if Chu Shuzhi’s is a wildly destructive ability, Zhao Yunlan will have to risk offending the Envoy and request a replacement. Preferably someone without a doll so palpably eerie that its mere proximity makes Zhao Yunlan’s neck prickle.
6. A pivot of possibilities [1,828 words, T-rated]

Summary: There was a chill in the Monday morning air, but Zhao Yunlan opted to ride his bike to work anyway. He was feeling good, still energized from a blazing hot hookup on Saturday night, and ready to face the week whatever it might bring. Even if that “whatever” included welcoming his mysterious new Dixingren employee.
I also posted meta and a poll about Shen Wei's feelings in episode 8, a question about Zhu Hong's dream, and a question about Shen Wei's car in the novel vs the drama. :-)
