We hope you're all enjoying the round as much as we are. There's only one post to go, so it's time for sign-ups again!

And now to sign-ups. Remember, the scene discussion series is open to other post types, too -- other meta, squee, rarepair or friendship ship manifestos, recs, etc. If you're not sure whether the thing you'd like to do fits the format, feel free to ask. (So long as it's about Guardian and is not a fanwork like fic or art, the answer is probably yes!)

Some info about hosting
There are no minimums! The only requirement is to post something about Guardian (novel or drama) on the Friday or Saturday, according to the schedule below.

Scene discussions are still very very welcome! (See the round six sign-up post for more/optional details).

If you want to include screencaps and can't make or find your own, we can help with that. Just let us know.

I would like to grab 11/12 March, please :)

I may do a scene discussion, but I think I'd like to do something a little different. I'd like to take perhaps the first few episodes (or some batch of episodes or maybe just a specific episode) and catalog all the times Shen Wei's theme song or ZYL/Kunlun's theme song plays. Or a combination of both :D Then discuss where the theme songs hit in the episode/scenes in my post :D Hopefully, that makes sense!

If that fails I'll definitely grab a scene from an episode to chatter and screencap about! Thanks!

Not sure which specific scenes yet but basically the SW/ZYL cold war to bomb scene argument and reconciliation over the course of the episode… which may possibly turn out as squeeing-plus-language-thoughts thinly disguised as meta, but hopefully that'll make interesting reading anyway XD

I'll take the 25/26 Feb slot for a discussion of dark energy. What it does, how it works etc. Many theories abound, I'm sure, and it's a topic I keep coming back to... :D

I'll take Mar 4/5 please! I'd like to do episode 8 where Da Qing and Zhu Hong gossip about Zhao Yunlan flirting with Shen Wei, and also a bit about Zhao Yunlan's relationship history in general.

I'm waiting to hear back to hear from someone about the 8/9th, but will let you know ASAP. Alternatively, I'm more than happy to add a new slot to the end of the round, if you want it. (Ooh, yes, that scene!! *two thumbs up + icon love*)
