Newbie looking for recs

As always, I'm stupidly late to the party. But thanks to umadoshi, I'm now hooked on Guardian. I'm up to episode 17 at the moment.

Like everyone else, I 100% adore the Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan relationship, and have already picked up some good recs for early on in the show from this community. But over the last few episodes (and especially in episode 17 with the underground fighting arena), I've realised that what I'm actually craving is some good Guo Changcheng/Chu Shuzhi fic (or indeed some juicy meta).

Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

If there's one kink this show exploits for me, it's a competence kink. Seeing Zhao Yunlan with a gun is just *guh*

It's so good for that! Shen Wei with his glaive and black energy, Zhao Yunlan with the gun, both of them with their brains. Lao-Chu with his strings and his "why am I the only competent field agent around here" attitude. And so on. ♥

Welcome aboard. :) You're in for such a treat with episode 18 when it comes to Chu Shuzhi/Guo Changcheng. I love that pairing, too and I made a post with fic recs last year. It's here, if you would like to take a look. And there were great fics for that pairing in Yuletide here.

I've only read a few Guo Changcheng/Chu Shuzhi fics (not widely enough to be able to offer recs), but the ones I have read have been great. Seconding the Yuletide recs.
