(It certainly isn't because they hadn't decided on his look - see this image set of Zhu Yilong modelling early versions of Shen Wei's wardrobe.)

Oh wow, those Zhu Yilong pics are so fascinating! How does he do that, you can tell he's not quite actually Shen Wei there ...

(Out of curiosity, where do these pics come from, do you know? What context were they released in?)

I... don't know but I was staring at them going "MAGIC" for the longest time. XD

So the account that posted them I think responded to a comment asking for unedited photos of Zhu Yilong? And whipped these four out. And I have NO IDEA who released them or why the account in question has them, but I'm not going to look a gift Guardian photoshoot in the mouth.
