Hahahaha, that'll teach me to comment when I'm half asleep, hee! (And also, I think it says something about my attitude towards reincarnation (and by extension, AUs) -- because even awake, I feel like Ye Zun and Sang Zan have more life experience in common than Kunlun and Zhao Yunlan do, lolol.) :D

This is such a cool perspective, ahh, they absolutely do! Until Zhao Yunlan regains Kunlun's memories, they really don't have much in common at all other than some general personality traits, and even those are clearly shaped by how they were raised because Kunlun, Shen San and Zhao Yunlan are all different people in many ways. You are so right and I'm loving this way of looking at it, yes! :D

Yes, exactly! Those some of those traits are fairly fundamental, eg, being kind to animals -- that was how ZYL knew the dragon-blinding story was a lie, right?

Very true, and that's a trait I didn't think of! I was mostly thinking that they're all willing to do outrageous things to fight the people in power (Shen San doesn't even deal with gods and Guardian problems, but he still gleefully pisses off the government and whatnot xD), and they're also all very protective, which is closely related to being animal protectors too. *nodnod* And now I realized that Shen San doesn't interact with any animals, does he? (Other than the ones that attack the baby, but they're more like supernatural creatures anyway, I think?) I've always loved your idea/prompt that he should meet Daqing, and now I love it even more! :D ♡

(Lol, I had five fandomtrees gifts all planned out at the beginning of December, let's see if I end up making even one of them. It's obviously fine if I don't. :))
