Lololol, I literally think so now - the more serious Zhao Yunlan is about how important it is and how much Lin Jing can't look, the more Lin Jing infers that. ;D And he only doesn't spread any rumors about it because Zhao Yunlan's intensity was terrifying. ;D

:D :D :D Now I'm imagining Lin Jing trying not to explode (Zhao Yunlan is scary and all but this is HIGH QUALITY GOSSIP xD) and then blurting it out to Xiao Guo because he's the only one who will not tell anyone else. xD (And then Xiao Guo tells Chu-ge because it's a distressing secret to have, and then everyone is talking about it?? xD xD And then Lin Jing is in trouble but what else is new. ;D)

Ohh yep, and not knowing that it's serious would probably lead to intentional teasing about the crush (and not only not avoiding the subject) because it wouldn't occur to Lin Jing or anyone else that the teasing could be not fun to her.
