Best scene is the hospital teasing one. It's so perfect, it really shows how comfortable those two are with each other, I just love it.

I love the hospital scene so much - 'things are never that bad when you can joke about them' is such a good vibe, definitely one of favorite tropes. :D

Yes! It's so good -- the playfulness, the matter-of-factness, the laughing at the team's messages together. <3 <3 <3 And I noticed when I was screencapping that at the end of the scene, Da Qing has a strong reaction to the mention of Kunlun, so Zhao Yunlan actually has to take care of him rather than the other way around. <3 <3 <3

SO MANY FAVS. :D :D :D The first things I thought of are "other": the scene from my icon (Da Qing talking sense, Zhao Yunlan rambling dreamily about Shen Wei :D :D), and their weird cat-body-language posturing in the popcorn scene. :D :D And from this list my biggest favs are calling for Heipaoshi (so silly, so transparent, so uncensored, lol :D) and the hospital scene (I just love this kind of vibe!), and I also voted for Weilan's first meeting, and for meowing. :D Oooh, and while we're in episode 12, another fav is Da Qing shifting into his cat form so that he can be cuddled by Zheng Yi. :D

And I have a cat who loves water, so I'm 100% sold on Da Qing loving long-ass bubble baths, especially in his human form, and also possibly in his cat form. :D :D (Which may stop being an annoyance once Shen Wei moves in - Weilan want some time for themselves, Da Qing is in the bathroom, win-win. xD :D) And if he doesn't like water, then he probably only bathes by licking himself in cat form, lol, so I voted for that too. :D

Ha, I made sooo many screencaps of that scene, but I just couldn't get a good one. (I wanted Da Qing flopping over the suitcase, but it cuts before he's fully flopped. ;-p) I couldn't get a good one of the meowing, either. *pouts* The popcorn scene! YES! True, that does sound more like novel-verse. But how about Da Qing yelling for more hot water because "dammit, Lao-Zhao, you know I don't like water on my skin!"

(I was imagining Da Qing shifting into human form, then shaking himself in disgust at the sensation of bathwater on skin, like a wet cat but in human form. Then quickly opening the tap and immediately relaxing back into cat form, while cursing at ZYL for not being home while Da Qing wants to take a bath, how very dare! *g*)

love this picspam, they are such a fun combo and I adore them together (utterly platonically, ofc). I have to pick the first meeting as my favorite moment, not least because Shen Wei's very first line of the meet-cute is to declare Da Qing a very intelligent cat 🥺

Your comment made me realize something that I'm sure has been talked about to death, but somehow I've never thought of it - Shen Wei knows that Da Qing is Da Qing before he even approaches him in cat form, right? :D Since he saw him in the window?
