!!!!!!!! I think that has to be it - the symbol, I mean. I always wondered why the iguana was there, but if you look at it as part of that theme, it actually makes sense!

I much prefer the drama's version, so I'm glad they made that choice, but I do wonder about the reasons.
It works so much better with the time loop for the Thing That's Important About Each Of Them to be their importance to each other, rather than something external. <3 <3 <3
