Do you think GF is frightened, though? I feel like he's be more likely to be annoyed, angry or sarcastic -- including about the lengths ZYL is prepared to go to to protect one solitary gui.
It may be because in the drama his grand plan is still in the future, while in the novel it was (mostly) in the past so he can openly reveal it.
I think drama!SW is also less gloaty and more stoically regretful that this has to happen. He doesn't have the self-loathing or the Ye Zun-loathing; he's just doing his duty, you know?
