So when else does he use the globes, I wonder.

The other one I remember is when he's opening the passage to Dixing.

Do you mean the first time he goes, with ZYL and the Regent? Because I checked and he's just using a stream of energy then. Or do you mean the last time, when he's coughing blood? (Have not checked.)

Oh, now I'm suddenly remembering someone's theory that the globes concentrate the energy, so he uses them when he needs more power. (The bolts and streams are presumably impromptu and more immediate/instinctive, like when he repels Tan Xiao.)

I thought it was when he sends Sha Ya back in episode 30, and now I checked and it kinda is, but the visuals are super vague. :P
