I think last time we discussed this we came to the conclusion that it's not supposed to be bleached, but that he went white-haired the same way Ye Zun went grey-haired - from channelling all that power, in the the standard wuxia trope.

Ooooh, fascinating, I've never even thought of anything like that! I also had no idea it was a trope, lol - did it happen to anyone else on Guardian other than these two? (Ngl, it sounds more fun if he bleached his hair to fit in with the high-fashion club he just joined. xD :D)

It's just these two in Guardian. In most canons that I've seen it's just one character, or at most twho.

I always used to think he dyed his hair, and it was so weird because he's really not the type - he doesn't fit in with the high-fashion club and otherwise isn't even trying. Even with his hair, he mostly has his hood up.

Lol yeah, that's very true! It would be funny if he started his makeover, didn't like it, and just stopped after the hair, lol, but I can totally see that his hair could have just turned white.
