Hi, I'm on a mini Taylor Swift kick, and yesterday I watched the OMV for "I Knew You Were Trouble When You Walked In". I know/suspect this song has already been vidded a lot, but for some reason, yesterday it immediately made me think of Guo Changcheng. So here is my "Guo Changcheng encounters trouble" poll, in the format of Cluedo (AKA Clue) guesses. :D

(1) Zhao Yunlan in the SID with a lollipop (first meeting)
(2) other: Zhao Yunlan on the university grounds with a corpse :p

Because nothing is as traumatic for him as that first meeting, and that first case; he rallies very quickly and learns to adjust to the new normal!

(I am boring about the iguana. I want there to be a story about why the SID has a regular iguana!)

That's true. He still gets some scares after that, but he grows a spine pretty quickly, all things considered.

"Boring about the Iguana" would make a great band name. :D

Oh, is it? Ha, I'd forgotten too. Doesn't ZYL use Changcheng's hand to check the marks on Lu Ruomei's neck?

ETA: I think there might be two corpse cases: Lu Ruomei, and the Wang Yike murders. That might be where the confusion's coming from?

Yes, I got them mixed up - I was thinking of the one in episode 1, except my brain had for some reason substituted the corpse from episode 3 for Lu Ruomei ... *headdesk*

I just checked, and Changcheng throws up in ep 1 (obvious murder victim, strangle marks), and faints completely in ep 3 (19:24; life-drained old-looking victim). Poor kid!

*adds the other corpse scene to my 'other' vote too* I know it's meant to be funny that there are ~two bodies~ and then one of them is just GCC who passed out, but also poor kid indeed. D:

And that's after just passing out twice at the SID. Someone should check his blood pressure!

(Aww, I just thought, someone should give him an emotional support animal, and then I realised that he goes from passing out at the sound of DQ speaking to happily holding DQ and taking him as backup to the hospital in the space of less than two episodes. Aww! <3)

AWWW, I didn't pay attention to that, that's so sweet. :D All the weird things become his new normal so fast, and a talking cat is just as cuddly as a regular cat. :D

Yes! I think he really only fainted out of surprise and lingering alarm at Wang Zheng's lack of feet and Zhu Hong's provocative snakiness -- which isn't unreasonable if you're nervous and not expecting it. *pets him*

When you just search for iguana, it turns up three fics. :D (But it's not the text of the fic, just the title/tags/summary/notes, so there's probably a lot more.) I skimmed, and two of them seem more adjacent to the iguana than actually about it, but still. :D
