I rewatched right now, and even all the adorable blinking doesn't work on ZYL, so at one point he just completely stops doing it. xD

*rewatches this one, too* Shen Wei is having so many feelings!! But I feel like he's also refusing to let ZYL disrespect the Envoy. Like, part of his reaction is "not giving an inch", you know? Which is like the opposite of a lie or misdirect...

Definitely a big part, yes! I love it so much, how what he says out loud has absolutely no meaning, but there's so much meaning underneath, and also ZYL can see all of it, and SW knows that he can. :)
