I want to know about food production, lol. They must have farms out there somewhere -- some rice fields at the very least.

Or maybe Dixing is more wheat China rather than rice China? We never see any body of water or any rain in Dixing, not that that means much given all the other things we never see. *g*

Oh, good point. We do see thunderstorms on the horizon, but that doesn't mean much. Otoh, there might be enough people with Hua Yuzhu's plant-growing power or similar...

Oh wow, I never even wondered how they grew crops without sunlight! But apparently irl a way to do that got sort-of invented in 2022, and this is a sci-fi world, so I'm sure it was invented a long time ago. :D (Or maybe people have powers that can do that, lol.)
