For Zhu Hong, you made them ticky-boxes, so I ticked three. Couldn't have narrowed it down to one, because they're such different flavours of "worst". *g*

For the second question - at first glance, visually, Zhao Yunlan was more my type, so I voted for him, but character-wise, it was Shen Wei from the start. And then Shen Wei grew on me visually, too, because he has the kind of face that just kept growing more and more fascinating and gorgeous the longer I looked at it. (And I looked a lot, because he was 100% the character I fell for first and hardest.)

I don't usually think about Zhu Hong that much, so my answer is largely based on the fact that I'd definitely find being the reason someone ends up dead absolutely horrific. I don't know if it's the worst thing from her perspective, but it can't be a pleasant feeling.

OH YAY, I missed having a poll last week. :D :D

I'm a bit surprised that mine is so far the only vote for the Ye Zun scene - it sounds like such a horrible place to be in as someone who can't do anything, and that's not even counting her feelings for Zhao Yunlan. But yeah, also definitely the Jia-ge thing, I voted for both.

The second poll I don't even need to comment on, lmao, it's a formality. xD It was Zhao Yunlan at first sight (the face, the body language, the facial hair, the outfits, the LOLLIPOPS, the whole-ass VIBE), and it continues to be Zhao Yunlan with his entire personality too, hands down, no competition. :D Actor-wise it's a bit more complicated than that, lol, but that would be Ye Zun, not Shen Wei. xD And my favorite character ~platonically~ has always been GCC, so it also helped that the show starts with his POV. :D

I feel like I'm only barely starting to scratch the surface of Guardian fics (the nearly 10k of them, HOLY MOLEY), but I'm already pretty sure that Zhu Hong needs more of them. :D If this is a thing, I'd love to read it! ♡

Nothing specific I think, just 'Zhu Yilong is drop-dead STUNNING and much better looking than Bai Yu without facial hair, there, I said it xD, but his absolute peak look and vibe on Guardian is ponytail Ye Zun'. ♡♡♡ Though I also gotta give it to baby Shen Wei, pretty close second. :D It doesn't have to do with first impressions though. :) (Or at least not any very first impressions; the order in which I watched/liked/got into things in this fandom is really bizarre. :D)

And you're so right about the facial hair! Back in 2018 he looked very baby-faced without it, too, and he's grown out of that now, but he still looks so much better with it. (On the other hand, I would never have guessed that Zhu Yilong could look good with facial hair, but well, he's proved me wrong, hasn't he? :D)

In the end I picked Jia-ge, because it's not only horrible to feel responsible for a death, but it's something that won't be fixed. Zhao Yunlan got his sight back, him shooting Zhu Hong was a trick, she recovered from various attacks or injuries... but Jia-ge's death is permanent.

For the second poll, I voted Shen Wei. After all, I watched the show because I was told that Glasses Guy and Masked Dude were actually the same person - I love identity shenanigans!
