That's so wild to me! I do remember being very puzzled when I read the version I did, since I
thought I remembered others being so excited about their relationship and how clearly they wanted each other, and I felt I must have missed something significant on my read. It would be really neat to see the original and the changes over the various editions of at least a few scenes.
