Yeah, 黑袍使 was one of the changes they made for the show. Which I guess makes sense, because it would be weird to have a Ghost-Slaying Envoy when there are no ghosts to slay (even Wang Zheng and Sang Zan are "energy beings" in the show instead of ghosts or spirits)
