Picspam: Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan in the apartment, episode 21

I chose this scene for a picspam because I'm weak for scenes in Zhao Yunlan's apartment. And also because this scene has some extremely reactive Shen Wei looks I've always been fascinated by, when Zhao Yunlan plays the mini voice recorder of Zhu Hong reading from the Ancient Secret Tales book.

Look how pale Shen Wei's lips are in that second one! I guess he's already affected by the Dial exchange, even if he isn't otherwise showing it. ♥

I love everything about the flat decor, right down to the ridiculous motorbike thing on the wall on the left. *g* And I love how light it is during the day, too.

The Dial exchange to return Zhao Yunlan's sight happens in the next episode, but it is pretty interesting that Shen Wei's lips are already pale. Perhaps from worrying about Zhao Yunlan and what will happen/not happen if he doesn't regain his sight.

I love the apartment's decor, too. I'll always be a little sad that we never get to see inside the other room (open doorway just visible beyond Shen Wei in pics 8 & 9). XD

Yes, that is such a great point! We're so used to taking his pale lips as a clue to his physical condition (because later it is!) but it's not only that. I love him being so visibly affected by something being wrong with Zhao Yunlan. ♥
