sid_guardian | Pic Spam: Zhao Yunlan and Hei Pa Shi Before

One of my favorite flavors of Weilan is prior to Zhao Yunlan finding out Hei Pao Shi = Shen Wei. Because of that I decided to watch the first 11 episodes, since technically Zhao Yunlan realized HPS = Shen Wei at the end of the episode.

The snippets I gathered amounted to 125 pics and then I ruthlessly pruned it down LOLOLOL. So here is the best of the best. Also, some of the pictures are blurry because of the transition of frames/how quick it was, but I wanted to include it either way :D

Episode 1:

I love this angle and I really love that it's focused on ZYL and HPS is unfocused. It's very ZYL POV feeling of it.

I like how in Episode 2 it feels like we're now in HPS POV as the camera is focused on HPS and ZYL is now blurry.

This is a pretty dark snippet but I just love how HPS puts himself in front of ZYL. PROTECTIVE!

Phew that's a lot of pics :) I hope you enjoyed the picspam! I don't have a lot of thoughts, I just wanted to share some snippets from the first eleven episodes between HPS and ZYL prior to ZYL realizing HPS and SW are same.

This is such a fantastic idea for a picspam!!!! I love all the flavours of Weilan, but Zhao Yunlan & Shen Wei as the Envoy in particular is one aspect that never gets as much attention as I'd like, so this was perfect for me. :D

I love the moments you've chosen, especially since several are ones that don't often get shown - some of them may be blurry, but they're well worth paying attention to!

Looking at your caps, it's also striking how often the Envoy is essentially a silhouette - the black robe and hood make that easy, of course. But very cool way to add to the mystique of the character. *g*
