I posted a commentfic inspired by the picspam series and a couple of flashfics for fan_flashworks:

- learning to lead - 313 words, Zhao Yunlan & Chu Shuzhi, pre-canon

Parallel World | West Out of Yu Men is a related fandom, though the Yuletide fic I wrote for it has nothing to do with Bai Yu's character. :) Young Scorpions, 1.3k, Ye Liuxi & Jiang Zhan. A bit of worldbuilding + backstory.

I also wrote a short review/rec post about watching Lost in the Stars (a movie starring Zhu Yilong and Ni Ni), which has probably more content in the comments than in the actual post. <3

While practicing for the Firewhiskey challenge, I wrote one more entry in my crackfic Guardian/due South series "WeiLan on the Planet They Call Earth." Called A Three-Way with Two Rays, it's set after WeiLan successfully return to Seastar. The dS characters discuss them briefly, including the possibility of WeiLanZun:

Fraser [snip]: “The pretty one apparently has an identical twin with long silver hair.”
All three of them were silent for a second until Vecchio said, “Damn, that’s hot.” They all raised their glasses.

I wrote one Guardian ficlet for the actual Firewhiskey Fic Challenge: Affirmation - ChuGuo, 395 words, mostly fluff.

I also made (completely sober) a gen Guardian songvid to a Wizard Rock song, about all the dangerous things that happen in bathrooms in the drama: Never Going to the Bathroom Again.

I made a few things in December to fill my Bingo card. Thank god for holidays. :-D

- Attempted to make vaguely Shen Wei-inspired mooncakes, with middling success. Edible, though!

- Wrote a drabble collection about Zhao Yunlan's bed, with a bit of angst and a happy ending. \o/

- Put together a Dragon City University rec list, including the "give Shen Wei friends!" agenda and student body shenanigans.

- Shared a zip file of Shen Wei promo images together with a little picspam, because I forgot that this post with all the official Weibo pics already exists. Oops, but also, always good to look at Shen Wei!

- Posted a bit of post-canon Weilan fluff on New Year's Eve! 🎆

Happy New Year, everyone! 🥳 This fandom brought me so much joy in 2023 again. 🫶
