22 wishlists are now live and receiving gifts on guardian_wishlist!

Requests cover a wide range of media and Guardian-related fandoms. There are no assignments, and you don't have to be signed up to participate in gift-giving. Anyone can write or make gifts for any sign-up, right up to reveals on 29 September (Reunion Festival).

All gifts must be hidden from public view until reveals. Post or link gifts in comments on the recipient's wishlist. (Comments are screened.) Gift comments can be anonymous or signed in. You don't need a Dreamwidth or AO3 account to gift.

And remember, sign-ups are open until 8 September! Come and join in!

I want to respect the spirit of the wishlist - I think I understand correctly one can submit a wishlist and not fill any requests, but is that frowned upon? I'm not so much interested as getting a gift as sharing ideas that someone can make use of, but I don't want to be a freeloader, and I'm unlikely to be up for fulfilling any requests.

Hi! It's fine to sign up without making any gifts. We do generally hope that participants will enjoy making gifts for each other, of course, but there's no obligation. However, we are guaranteeing that each participant will receive at least one gift, so if you're not interested in receiving anything, it might be better to find a prompt meme or similar for your ideas? :-)
