They did such a good job of dressing each set differently, and of course the moods and plot focal points of the scenes are different. It never occurred to me that they had reused furniture and props until after I'd rewatched several times and was screencapping props I thought were cool.
Right? They did so well with giving all these places their own unique feel and character, it doesn't look like they're reusing things even when they are. Shows what magic you can create with set design! I love it.
Oh, and I totally buy that Zhao Yunlan had a comfortable sofa at home and decided he wanted the same one for the office, or vice versa. *g*
