I actually wrote a thing this month! For the 520 Day Reverse Exchange, I actually finished a thing for the first time since February. Here's hoping it won't be quite that long until the next thing ...

Finished chapter 5 finally, the one where Kunwei go to rescue Ye Zun from Zei Qiu! This chapter contains mention of sex but no graphic depiction of it.

RECs! I read a lot of good stuff this month, but these stood out to me particularly:

Streamer AU in which ZYL and Shen Wei fall in love and then pine for ages before finally meeting each other for the first time. Very lovely slow burn!

[REC] The Sharpest Lives by Jo_Lasalle
Incredible dubious consent fic in which everyhting is the opposite of rainbows and roses, and ZYL's limited PoV makes me cry for how cynical he has to be to survive :(

[REC] Cycles by ancient_moonshine
novel AU in which Shen Wei ends up going through cycles of reincarnation and Kunlun follows him through the cycles, loving him from near and afar both 🥺

I love the streamer AU! Fun fact on the weekend my husband was telling me about some Vtubers he watches and he was like "are you familiar with [streaming concept]" and I was like yes BUT ONLY BECAUSE I READ THIS ONE FANFIC- and it was great :D :D :D

I'm familiar with streaming because my last fandom was a youtuber/streamer RPF thingie, and I've also done Twitch streaming myself before :'D not very successfully, but I did reach Associate status and got the emotes to show for it, despite not having done it in... 2 years now? *thinks*

Summary: Zhao Yunlan is the Chief of the SID; he knew going in that he would see unexplainable things, but he'd never expected this: to see himself sprawled limp in the arms of the mysterious and intriguing Professor Shen.

This is a time-travel fix-it with many, many feelings :3
