Hee! I don't think they're mutually exclusive. I do sometimes think about that post [personal profile] trickytricky made a while back about Shen Wei's response to Lin Jing's ring for Sha Ya, and... maybe Shen Wei likes to indulge in romance occasionally. Just as a seasoning, like MSG, to bring out the flavour. *g*
