The Lost Tomb Reboot: episode notes 6-11
I finally continued watching, so here are my episode notes:
Episode 6
Episodes 7-11
All in all I am still enjoying the adventures and the friendship feels between the three main characters. I keep waiting for some significant female characters to turn up though...
Since
laireshi recommended the novels the show is based on, I have started reading those as well, plus I checked out one of the other adaptations (unfortunately without Zhu Yilong). The whole series is enormously popular apparently, and I can definitely see why.

Also chapter 11 made me laugh so much with some of its lines
As I crawled, I recalled the knowledge my grandfather had instilled in me when I was a child: ancient tunnels were circular while modern ones were square; Qin Dynasty tombs were buried in the mountains while Han Dynasty ones were in the slopes; when it came to sex, nine strokes shallow and one deep was better—wait, none of this was fucking helpful right now.
SO unexpected!

HE IS ISN'T HE ;;;;;; (I have priorities XD)
OH MY GOD THIS IS WONDERFUL I should go and read book 1! (I only read the bad official translation, which skipped lines like this >.<)

Re official translation - you supported the author!
I recognise your icon now, how can this magazine come up with such excellent fanservice again? It‘s like the Guardian wedding photoshoot...
no subject
UMMM, about that... xD
That's really the only thing it's good for, because it's fully unreadable. (Also, it has bullshit lines such as "'I call him Menyouping,' said Third Uncle". NO! That's Wu Xie's private nickname for Xiaoge!)
Pingxie actually got two photoshoots! The Figaro honeymoon one (my icon) that also had a trailer with a voiceover of a poem read by David Tennant (no, I still haven't recovered from that) and the Bazaar wedding photoshoot that's possibly even more fanservice-y than the Guardian one?? My fangirl heart is so happy ;;;

Awwww nooooo
Do you have a link to the photos from the Figaro shoot? I found the trailer which OMG. Also David Tennant and that poem!!!!

I knoow!!! First, HOW DARE THEY combine two of my BIG fandom obsessions! Second, THE FEELS.
Here you go! There was the pingxie part and the...funny part, let's say xD
