Guardian fic! Of varying sizes
First post here, hello – I come bearing fic! Split evenly between handwavey-post-drama-canon and AU (that leans veeeery slightly towards novel worldbuilding but only in the sense that gods actually exist).
Also, I don't actually have proper titles for most of my AUs and I'm only a little sorry about that.
'cause love, we're like fire (almost 2.7k words?? utterly stunnedd)
Forfan_flashworks; handwavey post-canon fluff (in the form of crack taken seriously with a sprinkling of angst).
When he said there was a current between them Zhao Yunlan had never meant it this literally.
the au where zhao yunlan is actually the sentient manifestation of the city itself (1k words in two parts)
Or, to put it in meme format: *slaps lid of dragon city* you could fit so much sentience in here!!
“I don’t recall the last time we had to stop at an intersection,” Shen Wei continues, patient but relentless. “Except when it’s someplace you are very much in favour of not going to.”
the au where shen wei is a construct (233 words)
Technically a Murderbot AU. More practically, Shen Wei would make a great SecUnit except for the part where he doesn't get along with technology. Oops. (Currently working on the second half to this where Zhao Yunlan actually gets to, y'know, appear onscreen.)
Still. The armour fits well enough, and the opaque faceplate is currently serving double duty as his last remaining tether to standing guard in this corridor without losing the last shreds of his sanity.
