The carrd says that "Hallow is an upcoming non-profit zine for 镇魂 | Guardian (TV 2018). Other specs will be determined by the interest check!", so if a Guardian zine is something you're interested in (either as a participant or a potential buyer) filling out their google form sounds very helpful!

Ha, I got to the point where it said contributors have to be on Discord and went, oh well, never mind, but still -- cool that it's happening! Thanks for the links. :-)

I missed that when I was skimming through. :/ I'm not precisely surprised, but I am rather disappointed that it's the only form of contact they're looking for. Even as someone who likes discord overall, I don't like the idea of being forced to join a server to participate in an event.

Still! Cool that it's happening, will be cool to see what it becomes. :)

Hello, this is the Social Media Mod of Hallow zine (I actually came here to share the link but it seems like someone has beaten me to it).

I'm happy to let our Head Mod know of your concerns and see if we can work something out. Most zines run exclusively on Discord servers for ease of communication purposes, but alternatives might be possible. What other form of communication/platform would you prefer?

That's very kind of you! I only really do Dreamwidth and email, so either of those would work for me -- but I totally understand if you want to stick with your original plan! :-)

That can definitely be arranged!

I've updated the Interest Check form to include an option for alternative modes of communication, if you could fill that part out so that we can see how many people are interested? For instance, it wouldn't really be feasible to start a Dreamwidth community for the zine if there's only 1-2 people out of 50 who'll be using it.
