RIGHT??? Of course he understands sacrifice! And of course he feels for Wang Zheng and Sang Zan and their separation, and of course he'll help them hold on to each other. This whole thing really benefits from rewatching. :D

So maybe she’s Ge Lan with him and Wang Zheng for everybody else.

I like that! Like china_shop says, he calls her Ge Lan at least once, but I don't think he ever calls her Wang Zheng.
