I came across some promotional material for some significantly older work of Zhu Yilong's, and immediately felt that it had real potential for Guardian crossovers.

...or possibly just flat-out cosplay. That would work too.

Oh, they are, the 'shopper is credited. I'm pretty sure the credit link, below the images, is to the editor's weibo, but the link doesn't seem to want to load for me. *sulks*

Yeah, they have the editor's 'watermark', but the lower one, at least, looks like it really was from a promo shot. *squints* The upper one I'm less sure about.

It did strike me that this could be a lovely setup for a reverse-role AU, in which Zhao Yunlan keeps getting distracted from maintaining his cover by how smoking hot the Chief of SID is when he’s looking stern and fingering the handcuffs.
