I know several of us have previously gotten Vian's cute stickers, keychains and WeiLan pillow dolls... Now he's got preorders open through 16/10/2019 9PM (GMT+8) for a whole bunch of adorable Guardian goods including a picture book (!), stickers, washi tape, acrylic figures and pins. ♥

I've already bought so much fanmerch, I'm not sure why having the separation of aliexpress/taobao just makes it easier for me to buy vs directly giving out my name/address! It's very tempting though.

If you do give out your email, be aware that Vian has yet to discover the bcc function. So use one you don't mind accidentally having shared with others...

Oof. Thankfully I held off on entering my paypal e-mail into the order form! The card holder is super tempting but I'll give myself a few more days to think about this.

Haha, I thought I'd have to use my own PayPal account, but it turns out I can just pay as a guest. So I tested out using a first initial + last name, and PayPal let me do so. I'm very excited for the merch!

I had exactly the same dilemma and felt super weird about linking my irl name and address to my fannish identity, but in the end my desire for weilan plushies was too strong and I went ahead!

Also, much as I feel silly asking, what is a clear card?

Yes, every item on the form is a required question, so the ones you don't want you mark with X.

The clear cards are made to look like Instagram posts with clear backgrounds - the idea is that you can take them with you and do photo shoots with various backgrounds! I've never seen any in person, but I have seen people post pics of their clear cards.
