Clothes visual reference
I started a quick'n'dirty visual reference of Shen Wei's, Zhao Yunlan's, and Ye Zun's clothes because I am obsessed with one of Shen Wei's outfits for my own purposes, but it kind of exploded so I thought I'd share:
Guardian clothes visual reference
Basically I tried to capture whenever they changed clothes. It's not exhaustive -- particularly in the later episodes, when they didn't change clothes, I didn't always capture their existing outfit (=I was too traumatized to go back and cap Shen Wei's bloodied clothes). But I've tried to grab at least one visual reference per character (SW, ZYL, YZ) per episode. The set of images for each episode is arranged more or less by order of appearance.
The quality and size of the caps varies a lot, but clicking on the thumbnail should bring up the whole picture. (If you find broken links, let me know.)
Some of the caps have subtitles on them because I started off lazy and didn't get OCD about it until later.
I have multiple caps for some outfits because I tried to get different angles or details and whenever there was a full body shot that included shoes I'd try to grab that.
My favorite continuity gaffe:
In episode 34, Ye Zun changes socks when he's parading in Haixing in Shen Wei drag. In the classroom he wears Shen Wei's black/grey argyle socks but in the SID office it's the plain black socks. He must have decided the argyle didn't go with his open collar blue striped shirt. ^__^
Enjoy!(?)

...I swear I'm gonna go through and catalog all of Zhao Yunlan's jackets. How does he own so many? Is that why his bed is out in the main room instead of the bedroom, because the bedroom is one giant walk-in jacket closet?!

Fantastic catch! This is hilarious. :D

LOL, seriously! And some of them he only wears once! In episode 8, Shen Wei folds the dark sorta camouflage-pattern jacket Zhao Yunlan wore in episode 6. Other than that, we don't see it again.
And then there's Shen Wei's endless supply of odd drapey shirts he wears when he's not in his preferred suits...

There are surprisingly few clothing continuity gaffes, considering! The one with Ye Zun's socks was too cute.
The 'ship details I like are:
In ep.8 Shen Wei folds a jacket Zhao Yunlan only wore in ep.6
In ep.21, the shoes under Zhao Yunlan's bed.

Thank you for putting the images up, this is a terrific resource.

Another 'ship detail (I can't believe I forgot to mention this one):
In episode 23, when Zhao Yunlan lies down to rest, he's wearing his typical skinny jeans. When we wakes up later while Shen Wei's in the kitchen, he's wearing what look like sweatpants/work-out pants (in any case, not the jeans).

Yeah, I see what you mean... Personally I can go there because their interaction before the Kitchen Scene is really nice, but... my mind's in the gutter. XD That his jeans were too uncomfortable to sleep in seems just as likely, tbh!

I will never get over your discovery of the blue connection.

enablingencouraging my obsession with the episode 8 suit. From there, it was a slippery slope...I can't unnotice it now. Shen Wei in love. *sigh*

I know most people don't like his casual outfits, and of course I also prefer those amazing suits, but I'm still inordinately fond of his ridiculous baggy shirts with the too-long sleeves: they're so darn cute! Especially when coupled with the comfortable denims/slacks he picks to go with them.
This post is a joy! Thanks for sharing all these amazing pics with us!

They are! I love him in his suits, but he's adorable in his baggy shirts. They always surprise me a bit because his buttoned-up suits seem such a natural look for him, then he'll suddenly show up in a big baggy shirt. And I love how often his casual shirts and sweaters have stripes across a sleeve, mimicking the sleeve garters visual. :D

I hadn't, either, until I started gathering the screencaps.
Instead, in typical Shen Wei fashion, the proof of his devotion is everywhere. He literally wears it on his sleeve. Along with the rest of his outfit.
He does! OH SHEN WEI. ♥____♥ Like I guess really as far as he's concerned he was married back in YOHE.

You know, I never noticed this before, but now that you mention it... Lol, WTH, Guardian costume department!? Was that intentional or not? XD
